Architectural salvage, Thomas Medhurst panels.

Here we have 2 panels from a Thomas Medhurst Weighing machine. Used in both Trains and shipping as cargo scales these would have been the strength panels on a wood platform holding the scales. I bought these to turn them in to a table (hence the odd picture of it with a piece of wood on the top) but as yet have not got to completing it.

I have a PDF copy of the brochure that shows this type of panel in the machine, but think they would make a great table etc.

Size is circa 15" wide and 22.5" tall. But the pictures show a more precise measurement. These are about 8KG each in weight, so not a light object.
